For the past year and a half, I have been working on my new book Wild Marguerites which is going to be longer than anything I have written before. Of course, I cannot give everything
away, but I do want to give you something to look forward to.
This time, I am taking my readers to an island off the northeastern coast of the US: cold, always windy, not a place someone would like to stay for long. However, Judith, the main character in my
book, starts her job at a scientific marine research station to work on her doctoral thesis. In the process, she does not only uncover an environmental scandal but also gets to know her biggest
opponent together with Thomas, an intelligent and good-looking young man.
I lived on Nova Scotia for 6 months to gather inspirations and talked to marine biologists, fishermen, an oil company and, of course, the locals.
Let yourself be surprised. Wild Marguerites is going to be released by Grey House on 09/20/2009.
